There are ways you can look like you have freshly washed hair without even stepping into the shower. Over washing your hair is not good for your locks so these tips can help if your hair gets greasy days after a wash or if you are running low on time and need a quick solution.
Dry shampoo is great to have on hand if you struggle with greasy hair. The dry shampoo soaks up the excess oil and grease in your hair, giving it a cleaner, fresher appearance.
Baby powder works wonders on oily hair. Rub some baby powder into the roots of your hair and then use your brush to brush away an excess — done.
I cannot count the times I have used the messy bun trick to hide my greasy hair. Pulling all your hair up into a bun is stylish and it hides any greasy look.
Braids work the same as the bun it literally makes your hair look great and non greasy. Try two french braids for a cute look and unnoticeable greasy roots.

Ways you can prevent greasy hair:
Rinse hair with apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar helps balance the pH level of your scalp. Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in one cup of water. After washing your hair, pour the apple cider vinegar and water mix over your hair, and rinse out after 3-5 minutes.
Condition less — oily hair does not need as much conditioner as non oily hair. Condition your hair once a week if you struggle with oily hair to prevent over moisturizing.
Mix two juiced lemons with two cups of water. Rub into your hair and leave on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse your hair with warm water. Repeat 3 times a week.
Mix one part baking soda in three parts water to make a paste for your hair. Rub in and leave for 5 minutes and rinse with warm water.
