Make your own healthy mouth wash by mixing ½ cup filtered or distilled water, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, and 2-3 drops of peppermint oil.

It is very important to take time to focus on cleaning your tongue during teeth brushing. Thoroughly clean your tongue by scrubbing with your tooth brush or a tongue scraper to get rid of the bacteria that attaches to your taste buds causing a bad odor — yuck!
