Joseph Lopez, 22, says that 19-year-old Natalie Bollinger posted an ad on Craigslist asking to be murdered.
Lopez was just arrested this week for Bollinger’s murder that happened back in December of 2017, according to the Adam County Sheriff’s office.
Joseph Lopez claims he did not know Bollinger before responding to her Craigslist post which read ““I want to put a hit on myself,” according to an affidavit.
Lopez says he answered the post pretending to be a hitman and killed her with a gun she provided. Authorities said they found more than 100 text messages between Lopez and Bollinger on the night she went missing, and Lopez claims this was in response to her Craigslist ad.
Police found Bollinger’s body in a wooded area on December 29th after her boyfriend reported that her and his gun was missing on the 28th.
The autopsy found that the teen was shot once in the head and had “a potentially lethal level of heroin in the blood at time of death.”
