Fergie hit the court on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 to sing the national anthem prior to the NBA All-Star basketball game, and attempted to sing the song in a more “sexy” way or in a more Jazzy attempt — leaving America amused.
The Black Eyed Peas singer is being pegged as the worst anthem performance of all time. However, it was entertaining amongst many, including the most obvious Draymond Green who was seen holding back his laughter during the anthem.

ESPN basketball commentator Charles Barkley joked that he “needed a cigarette” after watching Fergie sing. Shaquille O’Neal came to Fergie’s defense saying, “Fergie, I love you. It was different. It was sexy. I liked it. Leave her alone.”

Comedian Roseanna Barr, who was roasted for her own rendition of the anthem at a San Diego Padres game in the 90s thinks her performance was better, “Who saw Fergie’s national anthem performance at the NBA All Star Game? I think mine was better lowkey,” she wrote on Twitter
Although the performance left many confused or in laughter — we must say that it was very entertaining to watch.

We are all so divided right now. We can’t agree on politics or gun laws, or really anything. But, can we all agree that Fergie just did the worst version of the National Anthem EVER? That was awful. #NBAAllStar #NBAAllStar2018 #Fergie
