Christina El Moussa, formerly of ‘Flip or Flop’ is moving on to something new. The 34-year-old recently just got her own HGTV show called, ‘Christina On The Coast’.
“Christina’s design style is very popular, so it’s a natural progression for us to expand her visibility with a new series,” HGTV and Food president Allison Page said in a statement. “Her fans also are deeply vested in her personal life and eager to see what happens next — so we’re bringing them the opportunity to share in these real-life moments in a way that no one else can.”
Christina who recently sold her home that she has live in for 5 years is not picking up and moving to Newport Beach with her daughter Taylor, 7, and son Brayden, 2. In the first episode we will get to see Moussa design her new home — the new show will focus a lot more on the reality life of Christina, documenting her new life as a single mother and her move from the suburbs to the beach. The following 7 episodes we will see Moussa transforming outdated homes into beautiful masterpieces.
“Each episode is going to show a glimpse into a real life, selling my home in Yorba Linda, house-hunting and moving into my new place,” El Moussa tells The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s going to show me trying to balance it all with kids and work.”
Christina and her ex Tarek El Moussa got divorced back in 2016 but continued working on the hit HGTV show Flip or Flop together.
“I’m glad we made the decision to continue the show,” she says. “It was best for everyone. We’re presenting a unified front. We’ve got kids.”
The eight-episode design series, ‘Christina On The Coast’ is set to premiere in early 2019.
