Jennifer Collett, 29 and James Collett, 30 were arrested on Thursday for an accidental shooting that occurred between their children while they were away.
The couples 11-year-old son accidentally shot his 6-year-old sister Wednesday night when the parents weren’t home, said Officer Shane Jacobs.
Another child was present during the shooting. News release says the little girl was in critical but stable condition. She is expected to make a full recovery and has been released into another family member’s care.
Both parents have been charged with three counts each of wanton endangerment and endangering the welfare of a minor.
