Person Arrested For Terrorists Threats On Snapchat

Salt Lake City (AP) — Utah police say they arrested a person in Salina suspected of making a terrorist threat on Snapchat.

Salina City Police Department received a complaint regarding the threat posted on Snapchat on Sunday night, according to KUTV-TV.

Salina police say the post featured a picture of a person holding a large military-style bullet.

According to police, the photo’s caption read, “Don’t go to school tomorrow.

Police say officers located the suspect and determined that the post was a hoax.

Police say no specific threats were made to any specific school.

The suspect was arrested was booked into the Sevier County Jail on a third degree felony charge of a terroristic threat.
