On Tuesday, Police were called in to Seaside High School in Northern California, after a teacher, Dennis Alexander, accidentally fired off his gun in his classroom.
In a statement the police said the teacher was teaching a public safety class and discharged the weapon injuring one student by a bullet fragment or ceiling debris. The student was transported to a local hospital by his parents for treatment — no one was seriously injured.
