The 76ers and their starting point guard Ben Simmons have agreed to a five-year max contract worth $170 Million Dollars.
The 22-year-old allstar point guard missed his rookie season and made a real comeback for the Sixers.
Simmons is a part of the Sixers core of young players who are making a push for the NBA Championship next season in 2019-20.
Philidelphia 76ers also traded Jimmy Butler to the Miami heat for Josh Richardson and resigned Tobias Harris in hopes of being a more competitive team.
The newest member of the Sixers is Al Horford who joined the team in free agency.
Simmons averaged 16.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 7.7 assists last season.
