Ben Simmons of the Philidelphia 76ers recently stopped in a popular casino with a few of his friends, he was suddenly was stopped by security who checked he & his friend IDS.
What stood out to Simmons was he & 2 of his black friends were asked to show ID but not his white friend.
Simmons is known in the NBA as a go to guy for his skillful playing style, he recently signed a contract worth $170 million dollars.
The 23-year-old is the highest earning Australian athlete right now.

He Tweeted about the incident on his official Twitter account.
“internal security policy requires our security officers to check identification of those persons they believe to be under the age of 25, this is an enhanced safeguard to ensure that no one under the age of 18 is permitted entry to the casino floor as required by law.
“The group subsequently provided identification and were permitted entry … strenuously reject reports that it discriminated against a group of visitors last night.”
Said the Casino.
Currently Simmons is set to play in the NBA this upcoming season.
He pulled out of the FIBA World Cup in an effort to work more in the off season and prepare for his upcoming season.
Given that his birthplace is Melbourne, Victoria he would of played for the Australian basketball team.
