Cosby, 80, has been found guilty of three counts of sexual assault, after an earlier trial back in June 2017 ended with a jury failing to reach a verdict.
The actor has been on trial for drugging and assaulting ex-basketball player Andrea Constand back in 2004.
Cosby had paid Ms Constand almost $3.4 million in a civil settlement in 2006.
Around 60 women over five decades have publicly accused Cosby of being a sexual predator. But only one charge has been brought to trial.
The judge ruled that the actor will remain out of jail until he is sentenced.
