The Vahl family went out on a Saturday night to Buffalo Wild Wings to enjoy a dinner, but were instead met with much hate.
The family and their party of both parents and children were faced with discrimination when staff at a Buffalo Wild Wings in a strip mall in Naperville, Ill., asked them to leave their table because a customer did not want to sit next to black people.
The incident, that has gone viral, was shared by Mary Vahl on Facebook. The staff has since been fired, and the restaurant is facing backlash.
“If you don’t want to sit next to certain people in a public restaurant then you should probably eat dinner in the comfort of your own home,” Mary Vahl wrote on Facebook.
When the Vahls complained to their waitress, she told them that she already knew what was happening: calling the regular customer a racist. When multiple managers attempted to order the group to move to a new table, they decided to leave Buffalo Wild Wings. Read the entire incident in Mary’s post above.
