The trade that landed Russell Westbrook in Houston seemed to be Oklahoma City Thunder attempting to gain assets to flip into better deals for their team.
One of those assets was Chris Paul, Many people believed that his trade was to happen soon but the Oklahoma City Thunder have confirmed he will remain on the roster for the upcoming NBA season of 2019-20.
Paul had been working closely with the Thunder team in attempting a trade, evenually both sides warmed up to the idea of him playing a full season.
He will join a competitive team with Steven Adams, Danilo Gallinari & Dennis Schroder. The team could possibly be successful and gives OKC a chance to still maintain their place in their conference.
Fans can expect Chris Paul to be in a Oklahoma City Thunder uniform next season.
