Super star point guard Damian Lillard isn’t happy about the Portland Trial Blazers game against the Utah Jazz.
“We get to the last play of the game, and they miss an easy call,” said Lillard. “And then they tell us that’s an easy no-call, like that was obviously not a goaltend. Cost us a f—ing game, man. Cost us a game.”
He’s not satisfied with the outcome given that the NBA doesn’t enforce rules against the officials regardless if they miss a critical call or not.
Lillard is having a career week scoring over 40+ points in his last 5 games. The Portland Trail Blazers are in a position that each win counts.
They’re currently out of the playoff picture but have a chance to enter the 8th seed should they pass Memphis Grizzlies and not allow the San Antonio Spurs to pass them.
This game was most likely to keep the playoff run alive while they attempt to build team chemistry.
Lillard took to Twitter to express his frustration after the refs admitted they missed the call “We don’t wana hear this punk Ass s–t,”.
“We get to the last play of the game, and they miss an easy call. And then they tell us it’s an easy no-call, like that was obviously not a goaltend. It cost us a f–king game, man”said Lillard.
This game is a hard hit for a team looking to enter into the playoff picture and could be costly toward their end goal.
