The very first cannabis cafe has opened in the United States on Tuesday in Los Angeles. Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe, is the first restaurant that highlights farm-to-table cuisine and cannabis.
Lowell Farms was granted the first consumption license in West Hollywood out of 300 applicants, according to CNN. The restaurant will be the first business in the United States to obtain a fully legal cannabis consumption license.
At Lowell Farms, the food will not be infused with cannabis. Guests will be able to smoke marijuana through pipes, joints and bongs with the entire inside of the restaurant being smoker friendly. There will also be edibles available for consumption as well.
“Lowell Cafe is a welcoming space for those who are cannabis connoisseurs and those who are canna-curious and looking to experience cannabis in a welcoming atmosphere,” the restaurant said in a statement.
