Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward fractured his left hand during a game against the San Antonio Spurs.
He’s recently had to spend a lot of time away with a injury last year that sidelined him for the entire season.
Coach Brad Stevens released a statement about hia injury “I just told him to keep his head up,” said the Celtics coach. “At the end of the day, that’s all you can do. He’s worked hard. He’ll be in good shape. He’ll keep himself in good shape and he’ll be ready to go when he gets back. But now he needs to help encourage some of our wings off the bench to be ready to be called upon to add value to winning every night.”.
The Celtics are determined to be the winners in the east and are unfortunately going to be without the help of Hayward for an unknown amount of time.
