Shazam is returning to the big screen, and we can’t wait to see it! On Dec. 12, Warner Bros. announced the release date for Shazam 2, and although it falls on April 1, 2022, it’s not an April fools joke. “Shazam!” is a DC Comics that centers on Billy Batson (Asher Angel), a teenager who can transform into a superhero (Zachary Levi) when someone says Shazam!

Although Shazam! doesnt have the huge following like other DC superheros such as Batman, Wonder Woman, or Superman, Shazam! received great praise from fans and earned a 90% “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The funny superhero comedy was for sure a hit and we can wait to see what the sequel will bring.
