33 Year old J.R. Smith was waived by the Cavaliers and is looking for a new team. Rumors have circulated that his new team might be the Milwaukee Bucks.
Smith is well known for his 3 point shooting and played a key role in the championship run back in 2015-16 NBA Finals.
Last season Smith only played 11 games and decided to leave the team, to not be a distraction to the players.
He expressed his discontent with the team and didn’t feel the role he was assigned was a good fit for him.
Smith has cleared waivers and can officially sign wherever he choices to go the Bucks appear to be the top favorites to land the shooting guard.
J.R. Smith averaged 6.7 ppg, 1.6 rebounds & 1.9 assists in 20 minutes of game play last season.
