The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a trade that will send the Hawks one of their long time players.
Jeff Teague is a well known point guard in the league. The majority of his younger career had been spent in the NBA has been with the Atlanta Hawks.
He played for Minnesota this past 3 years and it in hopes that they’d be more competitive for a championship.
With this trade Shabazz Napier will most likely take on the load Teague carried in Minnesota.
The Atlanta Hawks aren’t considered a playoff team but, with Teague in the fold they have a point guard that knows their offense.
Trea Young is currently their best player and both play the same position. This move was most likely to provide a reliable backup for the sophomore Young.
The Hawks this season are one of the bottom teams along with others such as the Warriors.
So far this season Teague is averaging 13.2 points, 6.1 assists & 2.6 rebounds a game on 44% shooting from the field.
