The Miami Heat have officially landed Jimmy Butler in a sign and trade deal that includes Josh Richardson going to the Sixers.
Former Celtic Al Horford signed a deal with the Sixers for 109 million 4-year deal.
Butler was looking for a new start and his time with the Sixers comes to an end, The Heat have been targeting Butler for a long time and finally got him.
Wojnarowski has reported that $97 million of Horford’s contract is guaranteed, with the remaining amount having some variables on the teams performance.
Horford decided it was best to opt out of his contract with Boston and looked for more commitment from another team.
He will be joining Joel Embiid & Ben Simmons who are all considered strong players.
The Sixers also resigned Tobias Harris to a max deal which makes them true winners after losing fan favorite Jimmy Butler who averaged 18.2 ppg, 5.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists & 1.8 steals while playing for the Sixers.
