Joe Johnson signed a deal with the Detroit Pistons that gives him a chance to earn a final roster spot.
“My body’s feeling great. This is probably the toughest part of training camp,” said Johnson. “It’s a lot of running and conditioning, but if you come into camp already in shape, you can get through it. I didn’t have any problems.
“It’s been fun for me, but I haven’t had a break in the last six months. But it’s been fun. The process has been amazing for me and I’m just thankful for the opportunity.”
Johnson was MVP for the Big 3 league and moved over to the NBA shortly after that he is currently 38 and still feels he can play on an NBA level.
