The Sixers recently hosted a game against the Chicago Bulls leading to a victory.
Sixers dominate big man has been on social media more and more recently. Some feel his attitude has been a bit much telling a fan to “shut up”.
“You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” #TheProcess Embiid posted on his official Instagram account.
Hinting to fans that he’s felt like a villain this season and possibly for majority of his career.
The criticism from his city didn’t seem to stop him from playing well.
Embiid finished the game with 26 points, 12 rebounds & 10 assists. A triple double effort and also included making several three’s this gave the Sixers the early edge in the game.
Jimmy Butler responded to his post and posted to Instagram “I know a place where villains are welcome”.
The team is looking to become more competitive and to Embiid this is possibly the best method to get his team going.
Al Horford also saw himself go to the bench for the first time since 2007 and played with the second unit. The coach appears to be happy about this line up for now.
