Katy Perry announced that she and Orlando Bloom were expecting on March 4 in the video for her new single “Never Worn White” by showing a clip of her cradling a baby bump.

In a SiriusXM Hits 1 interview Katy spoke about her exciting pregnancy news, which she said was planned. “Well, it wasn’t an accident,” she said.
“I’m so grateful for everything that I have been able to do and achieve, and all the goals I’ve been able to kind of check off my list of dreams, and the life I’ve lived thus far,” Katy said. “I think I’ve just been trying to create this space in my own life where I’m not running myself too ragged, and creating space for something new to happen like this. I think we were both looking forward to this new interval of life and sharing this. That’s kind of how it happens.”
Katy said nothing really changed so nobody knew that she was expecting. “That’s why nobody really knew of anything because I’ve always been hungry, and I’ve never liked crunches. So, they just thought I was curvy and hungry. And yes, I am curvy and hungry.”
