Krispy Kreme is bringing the taste of summer with new fruit-inspired doughnuts. “Summer is so close you can taste it. Literally!” is what Krispy Kreme says about their new doughnuts expected to arrive this summer.The company announced that they will kick of off with the return of their Lemon Glaze Doughnut from Monday, April 22 – Sunday, April 28. This popular donut is the perfect pairing of Krispy Kremes signature glaze with fresh lemon.
On May 6th, three new fruit-inspired doughnuts will make their debut. The donuts are Pineapple Doughnut (a pineapple decorated doughnut filled of pineapple filling), Key Lime Doughnut (filled with a tart Key Lime Kreme), and Strawberry Doughnut (filled with strawberry filling and decorated to look like the fruit). All three filled donuts are brightly decorated to mimic the popular summer fruits.
