Kyle Lowry has agreed to a 1-year deal with the Toronto Raptors that will extend his current contract. The deal is reported to be worth $31 million.
“We are so appreciative of how Masai and Bobby handled every aspect of this negotiation,”
“Once again, they displayed how they look after their players in a first-class manner, especially someone like Kyle who they recognize has such a legacy with the franchise.”
Bartelstein reported to ESPN.
Lowry is considered a key piece to the Raptors roster and possible chances of winning another championship with the loss of Kawhi Leonard he’s expected to take on a much larger role in the teams direction moving forward.
Currently 33-years-old he has a low shooting percentage for his career averaging around 42% shooting, it is rumored he’d prefer to be with the Raptors until he retires though it’s up to the Raptors to decide what is best for their team.
