News has broke that Steph Curry and the Warriors have agreed to a contract worth $201 Million.
This is what most people in the NBA would consider a “Super Max” contract to start off the free agency period this Saturday morning.
Lebron James took to twitter to share his thoughts about Steph Curry’s new contract.
So tell me again why there’s a cap on how much a player should get?? Don’t answer that. Steph should be getting 400M this summer 5yrs. #JMTs https://t.co/jMYfI0umWK

It appears Lebron James is questing why there is even a salary cap. Lebron James is the vice president of the NBA’s Player Association along with good friend Chris Paul who is the presdient of the NBPA.
Could it be Lebron James is raising a good point?
NBA teams are making more money now then ever before. There is the new telivision deals, apparel sales, fans buying tickets and a lot more ways NBA teams make money.
Fans are drawn in buy the elite playes such as Steph Curry and Lebron James this drives up the revenue which could prove why they’re considered underpaid.
Considering this the salary cap still serves a great purpose which is to make sure everything is fair between the NBA teams and NBA players.
The current deal between the NBPA and CBA will stay in place until 2022 / 2023. We will have to wait and see if Lebron decides to make the changes he’s mentioning now.
