Lakers Luke Walton is no longer going to be coaching the team. The Lakers announced that they and Walton reached an mutual agreement to go separate ways.
Walton held a record of 98-148 as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.
“I think Luke did a hell of a job with what he had, the cards he was dealt,” Rajon Rondo said. “The guys fought every night.”
Although Rondo felt this way many people questions some of his coaching techniques.
Lakers next coach will be the 6th coach they’ve had since Phil Jackson retired in 2011.
LeBron James and many other Laker players really liked Walton. While coaching the Lakers they’ve lost many games to teams that weren’t considered playoff worthy.
