Nenê has agreed to a deal with the Houston Rockets that will have him signed to the team for his third year, He’s been a key part in their development of young players & Rockets are hopeful he will continue to be effective in growing their young players.
The power forward has been in the league for 16 season and hasn’t won a ring yet, this year the Rockets feel it is their year with the addition of Russell Westbrook.
James Harden appears to be excited about the addition of his ex-teammate and is very hopeful their chemistry will do mesh together well.
“When you have talent like that, it works itself out,” coach Mike D’Antoni said.
“You communicate. You go out there and compete possession by possession. You figure things out. Throughout the course of the season, you figure things out. That’s just what it is. When you have talent, you have guys with IQ, you have guys willing to sacrifice, it always works itself out.” the Rockets are hopeful that Westbrook will share the ball with Harden and keep their focus on winning a championship.
