Nike has introduced self-lacing sneakers that can be adjusted via your smartphone. These shoes have all the Back-to-the-Future feels you could ever want, and were created to enhance athletes performance. The shoes that were revealed on Tuesday were designed to reduce players having to bend down to tie their shoes while in the game.

Oftentimes, while playing in the game, players shoes can become too loose or too tight so Nike created Nike Adapt BB , “a platform that creates a truly custom fit by combining an advanced power-lacing system, an app and continually updated firmware”
How does it work? When the foot is placed into the new shoes, that comes equipped with Adapt BB, the shoe “senses” what it needs and adjusts the laces properly for a snug and comfortable fit.
