British Olympian Eilish McColgan had her home broken into on Wednesday and the burglars took away with her medals and jewellery, according to McColgan. According to the Guardian, the runner was away in Sweden for a race during the time of the break-in. The home invasion left McColgan “upset and angry”.

McColgan, a middle-distance runner, holds Scottish records in the 5,000 meters and the 3,000 meters steeplechase. The Olympian took to social media to share some of the items that went missing. “This necklace is something they’ve stolen! Alongside all my other jewellery, British athletics medals and some commemorative medals from Olympics & Commonwealth Games! Please keep an eye out for these items around Manchester if you can!” she wrote on Twitter.

Eilish says the burglars locked her dog in the living room while they “trashed” her home to steal things of value. According to reports, McColgan said the police have yet to visit her house to investigate the break-in.
