If you shop at Whole Foods, you may want to check your fridge because the store is recalling 55 different items containing baby spinach due to salmonella contamination. The recall was released on Jan. 24 by the Food and Drug Administration.
According to the FDA, “The affected products, including salads, pizza, sandwiches and wraps, were sold at stores in Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island.” Check out all the 55 recalled items on the FDA website.
Salmonella poisoning can cause; fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. There have been no illnesses reported. If you purchased any of the 55 recalled items, be sure to throw them away and bring the receipt back to Whole Foods for a full refund.
