A Pennsylvania restaurant owner invoked Donald Trump’s name while making a black paying customer leave his restaurant while eating.
Ricky Lee Bugg was eating dinner at Just Wing It in Annville, Pennsylvania and was then confronted by the owner and told to leave all based on the color of his skin.
Destiny Bugg (Rickys Sister) quoted the owner on her facebook post which has went viral :
“Trump’s president now so I can say what I want. You ni**ers need to get out,”
The owner was also quoted saying “I own three restaurants and I don’t need you ni**ers’ money,”
Ricky Bugg who plays for the Lebanon Valley College basketball team admitted to flipping chairs on his way out the door which is totally understandable given the circumstances.
He also demanded his money back.
Gregory Krikorian, Dean of Students and Vice President of Student Affairs at the college issued a statement to the public:
I am sad to have to report that an incident involving LVC students in an off-campus restaurant in Annville occurred during the early hours of this morning.
It has been reported that an employee at the establishment made racially derogatory and offensive comments toward a male black student.
Other students were present. When the situation escalated, the Annville Police responded and documented the events.
Student Affairs has reached out to the affected students and is offering support. Additionally, we will offer broader support to the community.
