Yahoo Sports is reporting Rudy Gay has signed with the San Antonio Spurs.
The deal will be worth 17.2 Million over 2 years, Gay who turns 31 in August last year only played 30 games for the Kings.
Rudy Gay turned down a chance to make $14.3 Million in this upcoming season with the Kings but preferred to remain healthy and secure a role with a championship team.
Gay has a career average of 18.4 points a game he’s a great scorer with a ton of length and and explosive athleticism.
Over his 11 year career Rudy Gay has remained consistent offensively averaging 15 attempts a game 45% shooting, On this Spurs team it won’t be tough for him to get his stats.
The Spurs will now have a front court of all stars Kawhi Leonard, Lamarcus Aldridge and now the newly acquired Rudy Gay.
This move expands their roster offensively and gives them another option to go to when their starters are winded.
