Sandra bullock Stalker Gets Probation
Sandra Bullock had a very serious incident back in 2014 with a intruder breaking into her home. The Wrap is reporting that a restraining order was filed to protect the actress and eliminate this threat in her life. Sandra Bullock stalker Joshua James Corbett has a criminal record going back to 1992 and was believed to be mentally disturbed. He supposedly carried a notebook with various entries tat the court says “repeatedly describe lurid and sexual acts including multiple entries about his intentions to sexually assault” Bullock.
A number of weapons and illegal firearms were found in Cobett’s house which had “extremely high killing capacities and the potential for mass destruction.”
Sandra Bullock is traumatized by the experience. She reportedly woke up to a loud sounds of an explosion, with Corbett walking past her bedroom. He “pounded on my bedroom door repeatedly,” the actress recalled. Bullock was able to hide in her closet while she called the police so she could remain safe.
Fortunately for Bullock it has been reported Corbett did not have a weapon during this break-in. Bullock revealed that she has suffered emotional injury including fear for my safety and loss of my sense of peace. Resulting from the invasion by the defendant Corbett.
Bullock’s has now been granted a restraining order against Corbett.
The L.A. Times reported that Corbett pleaded no contest to charges of breaking into her home. Since then he has been released on five years probation.
Corbett’s attorneys has claimed that police ignored his requests to make a phone call, denied his request to be interviewed, and forced him to sign a release granting them the right to search his home. Which was accomplished by threatening his parents.
