The Sixers have been looking for a guard that can be a good rotation player.
While playing for New York & Dallas Burke was able to average 10.9 points and 2.7 assists.
“Trey’s experience as a ballhandler matched with his scoring ability makes him a good fit for our roster,” Brand said. “We’re excited to welcome him to the 76ers and look forward to the positive impact he can have on our team.”
The deal appears to be worth 2 million, for 1-year. The sixers currently do not have a true point guard in rotation & will rely on their flexible guard rotation to fill the void.
Burke played 58 games total last season with New York and Dallas he averaged 10.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
