The popular company Tiktok is under serious fire from the US president Donald Trump.
The executive orders are simple, US transactions for this company will not be possible.
Trump believes this is a time to take “aggressive action” against Tiktok.
The issues are in regards to the company being a potential security threat on a national level.
Prohibiting “any transaction by any person, or with respect to any property, subject to the jurisdiction of the United States,”.
Tiktok responded and felt Trump “paid no attention to facts, dictated terms of an agreement without going through standard legal processes, and tried to insert itself into negotiations between private businesses.”.
The company appears to believe that Trump is intervening in the natural process of selling a company.
Tiktok is not happy about their decision and accuses the Trump administration of practicing bad faith.
“For nearly a year, we have sought to engage with the US government in good faith to provide a constructive solution to the concerns that have been expressed,”.
