Never mess with anyones food or you could face some serious consequences. One vegan woman recently was the reciever to a mean prank from her friends and took to Reddit to tell her story and ask peoples opinions on her contacting police.
The womans so-called friends tricked her into eating chicken nuggets on film while she was drunk then shared the video to social media.
Veganthrowaway192847 shared her experience that has since gone viral. The 24-year-old old has been vegan for the last decade.
“Four nights ago, I was at a party and I will admit, I got white girl wasted. My friends thought it would be funny to feed me chicken nuggets as a prank,” she began.
“I checked with them before chowing down, [asking] ‘Are these vegan?’ To which my friends replied ‘Yeah, they’re Sunfed’ (vegan chickenless chicken) They tasted off to me but I figured it was just because I was drunk. I was wrong.”
The next day, the womans sister told her about her friends Snapchat posting and was shocked to see the video of them showing off the real chicken nuggets package and giving them to her.
The woman recorded the video and brought it to the police accusing her former friends of food tampering. Now, all three are facing charges.
“In my view, they took advantage of my drunken state, tampered with my food, and publically humiliated me. In their view, it was just a prank,” she said.
Thousands of comments poured in with many telling the woman that she done the right thing by bringing the footage to the authorities. Some feel as though she went to far by calling the police. What’s your take on it?
