I love pickles, so when I found out Vlasic was coming out with pickle chips, I was a bit giddy about it. A report from Food Business News says these Vlasic pickle chips (that are BTW made with REAL pickles)are are just one of many tasty snacks being released by Conagra Brands, the parent company of Vlasic and other brands.

These pickles will be different than any other dill pickle-flavored chips, why? because these are actually real pickles! The chips are thinly sliced dill pickles that are vacuum fried and packed into single serving bags for our enjoyment.
“Pickles themselves are a great snack, essentially no calories or carbs. But eating pickles out of a conventional jar is inconvenient and messy,” Conagra’s COO Thomas McGough said in a statement. “So we’ve created Vlasic single-serve pickle slices and also a Vlasic vacuum-fried pickle chips that taste absolutely fantastic.”
There is no release date, but it is a snack I am looking forward to hitting shelves.
