Warriors have wasted no time in this series against the Portland Trailblazer’s once again proving they still believe they will win another championship despite the injuries they’ve experienced with Durant. Although Kevin Durant’s health may not be the deciding factor for the Warriors during this championship run. It has more to do with Steve Kerr, who like Durant missed Game 3 win over Portland Saturday night and could miss the remainder of the playoff’s.
The Warriors are stacked and they will survive for now without Steve Kerr. They have enough talent and experience to get the job done in this round.
Steph Curry has seemed to find his groove exactly at the right time.
Curry scored 14 of his 34 points in the fourth quarter as well as the final 9 points for the game. Warriors now have 3-0 lead.
Curry said after the game:
“I just stayed aggressive, stayed confident,” he said. “You always take shots you think you can make in the flow of the game and live with the results, and you can’t get discouraged if you miss. My teammates have a lot of confidence in me to make plays. Down the stretch in the fourth quarter, there were a lot of voices in my ears, telling me to keep shooting.
“You can’t get too low, can’t get too high. That’s my philosophy.”
Durant, Livingston and Barnes all had to seat out due to injuries.
The warrior’s have done everything they need to do to prove they are ready to win another championship even without help they’re still flying through the competition and with a locked in Curry I can’t see them not being one of the favorite’s to win the title.
