Ireland Tate made headlines after she posted a video to Instagram saying she was not social distancing to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.
“So, I’m aware that we’re supposed to be self-quarantining and social distancing all these things to keep everyone safe. Cool. I get it. I just don’t think that I’m going to get the virus,” the 21-year-old said.

Just days after her video, she tested positive for the virus. The social media influencer released a video advising young people to take the illness seriously because she has tested positive for the coronavirus.
“So I tested positive for COVID19. I’m in isolated quarantine for 14 days starting today. I’m not doing great, but now I have time to watch every single [Bussin’ With The Boys] episode on YouTube (trying to see the bright side here).”
She went on to say: “It feels like there’s someone sitting on my chest at all times; it’s really hard to breathe. I’ve coughed until my throat has bled. While it may not be affecting you, you could be affecting someone’s grandma or grandpa or aunt or uncle or sister.”
